The Challenge
Lakeside Longshore Construction & Design works waterfront across six eastern North Carolina counties — Wayne, Johnston, Wilson, Pitt, Lenoir, and Duplin. Marine work does not price like a kitchen remodel: a seawall is quoted by the linear foot, a dock and a boat shelter by the square foot, and the number moves on material, access, and site conditions before anyone measures anything. That meant every enquiry, however casual, cost a phone call and often a drive to the water. Meanwhile the enquiries that arrived by web form were a name and a sentence, with no way to tell a homeowner ready to build from someone pricing a project two years out.
Our Solution
We built an instant-quote engine into their site. A visitor picks the project type, enters dimensions, chooses a material, and answers a short set of questions about access and existing structures. Pricing logic built on LLCD's real numbers returns a genuine estimate on the spot, and the visitor gets a branded PDF they can keep. Behind it, every submission is scored hot, warm, or cold against rules LLCD approved, and lands as a record the office can work through, with a status that moves from new through contacted, scheduled, quoted, and won or lost. The office sees the scope, the dimensions, the material, and the contact details before returning the call, so the first conversation starts from a number instead of from scratch. Where it stands: the engine is live and has booked its first job. This is a young tool on its first site, and we would rather tell you that than quote you a percentage.
