What is an instant quote tool, and how is it different from a contact form?
A contact form collects a name and a message, and then both of you wait. An instant quote tool asks the questions you would ask on a site visit — dimensions, materials, access, condition — and returns a real price range on the spot. The customer gets an answer while they are still deciding who to call. You get the answers to those same questions, so the first conversation starts from a scope instead of from scratch.
Will instant quoting work for custom jobs where every site is different?
Partly, and it is worth being straight about where the line is. Instant quoting works best where the work can be specified — deck square footage, linear feet of fence, standard roof replacements, repeatable service calls.
